Blush #3 is a still life inspired by thorny bougainvillea trees. The bouquets of magenta paper flowers are nestled among deep green leaves.
 
The flowers were hand-sketched using a charcoal pencil and painted with watercolors on paper. Blottings of bleed tissue were also added for texture and movement.
